Order of inspection
U0401 Invalid Data Received From ECM/PCM A Medium
The U0401 code means the engine control module is sending messages, but with data that does not make sense or is out of range. The transmission, the ABS or the instrument cluster may act up as a result. The module is often just passing along a bad reading from one of its own sensors.
