Order of inspection
P2127 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch E Circuit Low Input High
The P2127 code means the second gas pedal signal fell below the lowest value it can legitimately have. It is an electrical fault: an open circuit, a short to ground or a missing supply. The vehicle goes into limp mode because the accelerator is a safety system and the computer has lost its cross-check.
