P1711 Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor Out of Self-Test Range (Ford) Low
On Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles, the P1711 code means the transmission fluid temperature sensor was out of range during the self-test. You may notice somewhat harsh shifts when cold. Often the test was simply run with the transmission too cold or too hot.
