P1684 Transmission Module Power Recently Disconnected (Manufacturer Code) Low
On vehicles from the Chrysler group, the P1684 code means the transmission control module lost its battery power, usually because somebody disconnected the battery. It does not describe a fault. On General Motors group vehicles the number means something else, so confirm the brand first.
