P0836 Four Wheel Drive (4WD) Switch Circuit Medium
The P0836 code means the computer found an electrical fault in the circuit of the four wheel drive switch. The main effect is wrong shifting and a wrong speedometer reading when the truck is in 4WD. The connector is the most common culprit, so start there.
