P0447 Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit Open Low
The P0447 code means the circuit that controls the EVAP vent valve is open. Because that valve sits under the vehicle, broken wiring and a corroded connector explain more cases than the valve coil itself. It often sets leak codes for leaks that do not exist.
