P0431 Warm Up Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2) Low
The P0431 code means the fast-warming catalytic converter on bank 2, the one closest to the engine, no longer stores enough oxygen. It is a variant of P0430. Rule out exhaust leaks, slow O2 sensors and mixture or misfire problems before you replace it.
