P0426 Catalyst Temperature Sensor Range/Performance (Bank 1) Low
The P0426 code means the bank 1 catalyst temperature sensor gives a reading that is electrically valid but does not match what the computer expects. The main effect is reduced protection for the catalytic converter. The sensor may be worn or dirty, or there may be a real abnormal condition.
