P0299 Turbo/Supercharger Underboost High
The P0299 code means the computer compared the boost pressure it commanded with the pressure it actually measured and found a sustained shortfall. The symptom is unmistakable: loss of power and limp mode. In most cases the turbo itself is not the problem, and the cause is a leak in the intake circuit or a stuck variable geometry mechanism.
