P0161 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 2) Low
The P0161 code points to the heater circuit of the oxygen sensor after the bank 2 catalytic converter. Because it hangs under the vehicle, rubbed wiring and a connector full of water explain more cases than the heating element itself. It does not affect how the engine runs, but it keeps you from passing an emissions inspection.
